This research study by Sangath tested the acceptability and feasibility of a counselling programme to prevent depression in the elderly (>60 years). The treatment was delivered by non-specialist people from the community.
Adapt a counselling intervention (programme) based on Problem-Solving Therapy (PST) and Brief Behavioural Treatment for Insomnia (BBTI) to our local context.
Test the acceptability and feasibility of delivering this intervention using non-specialist people from the community (lay counsellors).
