Well-being Centre

The Well-being Center was launched on June 4th, 2021 to provide mental health support to those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a special focus on frontline healthcare workers. The pandemic created new barriers for people trying to access mental health care or those already managing existing mental health concerns. 


Given the response to our efforts, we have since expanded our scope of work to cater to the mental health needs of anyone in need.


Our objective is to provide comprehensive, integrated, and responsive mental health services while implementing strategies for the promotion and prevention in mental health.


The Well-being Center is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to mental health care and support. Our team of experienced tele-counsellors is now available to provide mental health care for anyone facing problems that are impacting their day-to-day life.

Our services are comprehensive and we provide three types of mental health support

A range of practical tools, advice, and guidance to help you to support your own mental health and wellbeing on subjects such as anxiety, depression, loss and grief, managing stress, and self-care. You can use these resources – which include videos and podcasts – to learn practical and evidence-based tips and strategies for managing your mental health, develop coping strategies, and learn about other peoples’ experiences.

Taking the first step of seeking help for your mental health is a powerful act of self-love and a testament to your strength and resilience.

Our Perspective & Approach

At the Well-being Center we value the promotion of positive mental health for all. We strive to improve the quality of life by developing an understanding of what one needs to make positive changes in their lives. Mental health support can help people cope with the stressors of life, improve work productivity, and enable people to actively contribute to their community. We also strive to foster a greater understanding of mental health issues and the importance of seeking professional help when needed.
