If you are currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in health sciences/medicine/basic sciences/social sciences or any health or development related subject, you are eligible to participate in this course

As a participant, you will be spending roughly 4 hours of your time per week on this course. Of this only the live webinars would have to be attended at specific times. The rest of the course content can be completed in your own time.

Each participant may be expected to spend a total of four hours per week that may include,

  • 1 hour of specific set of readings to be completed
  • 1-2 hours of video lectures (10-40 minutes each)
  • 1.5 hours of live case-study based discussion with the module faculty (every alternate week)
  • 0.5 hours of bonus content and module assessment

DRISHTi is a completely online course that requires you to have a desktop/laptop, stable internet connectivity and good microphones and headphones/earphones.

Attendance to all the live webinar is mandatory. However, if you cannot participate due to some reason, please communicate it to our team in advance and we shall surely consider it.

Yes, each module will have an objective assessment to test the participants understanding of the content. You are required to score at least 50%. These questions will not be complicated. If you have attended the lecture and been through the reading material, you will easily be able to score full marks. In case you score less than 50% you are allowed 2 more attempts.

The course content will be not be downloadable but will remain accessible throughout the course period of 10 weeks and an additional grace period.

You will get a certificate for your participation in this program and an opportunity to network with a range of experts from health, science and ethics both in a group format as well as one-to-one.

You are free to withdraw from your registration at any point of time after informing the DRISHTi team. However, upon withdrawal the course fees will not be refunded.

We are charging a nominal fee of INR7000 for this course. Yes, you can request a partial/total waiver. The course fee is non-refundable.

Yes, there will be a lot of opportunities to connect with other coursemates. In the beginning of the course there will be an optional informal welcome session. Every week during the live webinar, there will be discussions where you will meet with coursemates and discuss case studies with them. Thirdly, in the learning management system, once the course starts, a discussion forum will become active in which students can interact with each other. In some weeks, case studies may be assigned to specific groups of students. In such cases, group mates will be encouraged to meet outside of class hours to prepare for the webinar.

No, there will not be an exam at the end of the course. You will be considered to have completed the course if you complete and pass all the weekly course assessments.

Certification will be available only to students who complete the course within the 10 weeks+grace period. After the grace period, the course platform will no longer be accessible to the students.
