PROMOTING A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO LEARNING (PAHAL)

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The PAHAL project aims to create an inclusive and comprehensive learning environment at Udaya Public School (UPS) in Ayodhya, where every student can reach their potential. The project builded upon Beyond Boundaries (BB), which works with schools in Goa to create an inclusive learning environment.

The Beyond Barriers (BB) project identified a need for a streamlined process with stakeholders seeking a guideline to develop schools into inclusive ecosystems for children from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds. Building on the work initiated by the BB project, the extension project, BB- Bridge (BBB), manualised the process and created short training packages for key stakeholders to understand the components of an inclusive school environment and implement it systematically within their school.

The PAHAL project aims to implement this intervention in Udaya Public School, Ayodhya, to develop a holistic ecosystem which reflects inclusive values and an environment which enables every learner to reach their full potential
