Queerclusive

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Queer persons face a multitude of unique life stressors that influence their well-being in diverse ways (Ranade and Chakravarty, 2013). In the workplace specifically, they tend to face very high levels of work-related stress (Sridhar, Mariwala, and Ravi, 2021). The workplace can contribute significantly to the psychosocial distress of LGBTQIA+ employees and our project not only recognizes the marginalization within this space but also the potential for structural change and support. Queerclusive is a queer-led initiative funded by ARROW Malaysia and hosted at Sangath Bhopal, working to support the psychosocial needs of queer and trans people in the workplace.
